Who We Are

Serving with compassion since 2017

Snehalayam Charitable Trust was established on 20 December 2017 at Thattamala in Kollam district with a mission to support and uplift the underprivileged. Over the years, the trust has been actively serving society by providing food to the homeless and needy in the streets of Kollam.

The trust extends financial assistance for medical treatments, especially for cancer and dialysis patients, and supports underprivileged students by providing school bags and study materials. It also distributes food kits and clothing to those in need, along with a monthly pension scheme for the financially struggling.

Snehalayam is equally committed to social awareness, organising anti-drug and anti-alcohol campaigns, seminars, and various medical camps to promote healthier communities.

Our Journey

Expanding to Alappuzha

After seven years of dedicated service in Kollam, the trust expanded its activities to Alappuzha district. A new branch was launched on 10 April 2025 at Peringala, near Kayamkulam Railway Station.

The inaugural programme was officiated by Ward 14 Councillor Mr. Ansari Koyikkaleth, marking the beginning of charitable initiatives in the region, including medical financial aid and food kit distribution.

Driven by compassion and a strong sense of social responsibility, Snehalayam Charitable Trust continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

Chairman

Mr. Subin S is a compassionate social worker dedicated to supporting those in need. Since December 20, 2017, he has been actively involved in charitable initiatives, helping underprivileged families, patients in need of financial aid, and students requiring educational support.

Guided by a strong belief in humanity and selfless service, he focuses on identifying real needs within the community and delivering meaningful assistance. His vision and commitment continue to inspire positive change through the trust’s activities.
